An exploration of identity and what this means in a changing and expanding multicultural society by local west midlands artists.
With a mix of medium, including live performance, dance, art installations, sculptures, photography, painting, Live Music and projections, Film , workshops and interactive audience participatory activities, you can fully immerse yourself into the distortion of our many identities.
Many of the works will be for sale and the artists present, giving the wider community an opportunity to view, communicate with and buy original and unique one off pieces from talented Artists responding and presenting their work within the question and exploration of a vital area that is being challenged repeatedly in our fractured awareness of the foundations of humanity.
With many local funded arts groups attending, it is also a chance to network and gain information on the available community art support, projects and funding in your area.
“As part of our ‘on-going vision’ to work with and unite all cultural providers, based within Wolverhampton and the Black Country -- to produce a visible, impactful, relevant (i.e. to individuals who feel excluded from the ‘cultural sphere’) and viable creative community.”
