"I AM AN ARKTIVIST" is an innovative networking event for environmentalists, aimed at fostering environmental awareness and promoting a green lifestyle by connecting local residents, businesses, and organizations through creative and community-driven initiatives.

Who Should Attend:

Environmental Organizations: Showcase your services and impactful work. There are no fees to participate, and if you wish to donate towards our admin fee, it would help us reach out to corporations and businesses that will be invited to pick projects to support.

Local Businesses: Learn about eco-friendly practices and discover how you can support existing environmental projects.

Artists: Display eco-friendly artworks that promote messages of cutting waste and environmental preservation.

Volunteers: Join us in raising awareness and supporting the event logistics.

Community Members: Anyone passionate about the environment and interested in learning more about local environmental efforts and the “I AM AN ARKTIVIST” initiative.

At Laura I Art Gallery, we believe in the power of creativity for social change, and this event will be an inspiring showcase of art, performance, and collaboration aimed at protecting our planet.

Here’s what to expect: ✨ Incredible local talent—art exhibitions featuring works made from upcycled materials. ✨ Powerful performances by poets, singers, and creatives inspiring environmental action. ✨ Presentations from environmental leaders sharing Barking and Dagenham’s vision of becoming the Green Capital of the Capital. ✨ Meet Noah, our beloved planet mascot! 🌎 Young attendees will have the chance to meet Noah, share their stories about participating in litter-picking initiatives and other environmental efforts, and receive an Arktivist (Eco Warrior) badge as a token of recognition for their contributions. ✨ Opportunities to network with organizations and individuals making a real impact.

This event is not just for organizations—residents with a passion for the environment are invited too! Whether you’re here to learn, connect, or take action, there’s something for everyone.
