hu focuses on the layered narratives inherent in the works of five Hungarian artists residing in the UK and attempts to capture the diaspora of these early-career artists focusing on shared common questions, interests, and motifs.
About
The show will open in Dundee at GENERATORprojects, from there it will travel to the Abject Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne, and will then culminate in London. This concluding exhibition will be made possible through the collaboration of the Balassi Institute, Hungarian Cultural Centre London.
More information on the individual artists and their backgrounds will be provided in the catalogue which will be available at the exhibition alongside an artist discussion which will be held later this year in London.
