Howard Dyke paints enigmatic images of women in burka's chosen from flickr, google and getty images painted in loose strokes with collaged reflective sticker faces often in domestic settings . They are not afraid of being looked at , almost attention seeking. For this show Howard will show one painting from the ' Burka ' series called ' In the lounge' and on the adjacent wall, an abstract painting taken from an image of the Lybian capital Tripoli, where Swirling colours weep and crack under the weight of materials applied to the support.
