House of Vans London Presents // Vans x Nintendo Interactive Exhibition

The exhibition pays homage to the various  cherished consoles from Nintendo, including the current generation home console Wii U, right back to the earliest console iterations including the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and Nintendo 64.

The collection, dropping 1st June 2016, celebrates the early days of video games with a truly unique collaboration featuring artwork from Nintendo’s iconic franchises, including  Super Mario, Duck Hunt, Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda.

Between the 2nd-19th June 2016, House of Vans will be transformed to celebrate this exciting collaboration between two brands of such cherished cultural significance. The Gallery Tunnel will have Nintendo consoles spanning the generations on display  with a seminal title available for all visitors to play. Playable within the Gallery Tunnel will be Duck Hunt (NES), Super Mario World (SNES) Donkey Kong 64 (N64) The Legend of Zelda – The Wind Waker (GameCube), Mario Kart Wii (Wii) and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (Wii U). Throughout the Gallery artwork and memorabilia through the ages of Nintendo will also be on display.

Within the Cinema a large scale competition and ongoing public competitions will be taking place. Mario Kart 8 for Wii U will be waiting on the cinema screen for anyone willing to enter the contest with a range of prizes from Nintendo and Vans up for grabs.

The launch night will feature Nintendo oriented canapés and snacks and you can expect Nintendo themed music throughout.
