About
The Independent Photography Festival (I.P.F) is an annual event created by young photographers for a local and global network of photo fiends, independent publishers and creatives.
House of Vans London is proud to host the exhibition featuring work from a selection of artists including Sam Dearden, Donovyn Le Roux, Adriaan Louw, Sarah Meurle, Harry Mitchell, Jonathan Pinkhard, Callum Paul and James Whineray. The exhibition will launch Wednesday 18th November from 7pm until 10pm and run until Sunday 29th November in the House of Vans London gallery space.
The House of Vans Artist labs will also play host to two workshops. Saturday 21st November’s workshop with Matt Martin of Photocopy Club, will provide an introduction to the history of zine making and it’s use within contemporary photography. Participants will have the option to work collaboratively or on solo and split zines around a chosen concept, taking home their very own copy of their publication. On Saturday 28th November, South London based artist Luke Overin will present a workshop and introduction to the process of silk screen printing. Workshop attendees will be given a selection of images relevant to the IPF festival & youth culture as well as a blank shirt, to showcase their new found skills.
