The Morley Gallery, London presents House Of The Flying Wheel, a touring group exhibition that brings together new commissions and existing work, celebrating the life of the 19th century philanthropic merchant, Samuel Morley and the 125th Anniversary of the Morley College.
About
The exhibition will showcase exciting works by renowned contemporary artists including: Darren Banks, Julian Wild, Mark Davey, Tracey McMaster and Yinka Shoibare MBE. The exhibition, funded by a £56,700 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund with support from Arts Council England, brings to life the colourful legacy of Victorian philanthropist, textile entrepreneur and MP, Samuel Morley.
