Part of Home of Metal, photos of Heavy Metal fans by local rock photographer Steve Gerrard will be displayed from 21 October 2011 - 15 January 2012.
Gerrard has been an accredited photographer for bands such as Radiohead, Metallica, Kiss, Muse, Nine Inch Nails, Iron Maiden, The Sex Pistols, Bon Jovi and Kings Of Leon, and has had his work published in magazines including Rolling Stone, Kerrang!, NME, Terrorizer, Metal Hammer and Rock Sound.
Home of Metal is a celebration of the music that was born in the Black Country and Birmingham, and is a project created and produced by Capsule.
Home of Metal brings people together to share their passion and explore themes of Heavy Metal through exhibitions, film screenings, live events, a conference and family friendly activities. Four decades since Heavy Metal was unleashed onto an unsuspecting world, Home of Metal honours a truly global musical phenomenon.

The Home of Metal Black Country season of activity has been curated and organised by Capsule on behalf of the Black Country Arts Partnership and supported by Arts Council England, Renaissance West Midlands and MLA.
