A group of thirteen Contemporary Arts Practice/Creative Arts students from Bath Spa University will be creating work for an exhibition titled Home Is Where The Heart Is.
The theme is loosely based on the visible amount of homeless people around the city of Bath and is an exploration on what it means to be homeless, questioning the significance of a home as well as the privileges that we take for granted and the happenings that occur behind a closed door.
Each artist will create an artwork in response to this title/theme using their specialized medium, - photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles or painting - optimistically envisioning an ambiguous and thoughtful outcome.
