A Queer Psychedelic Utopia.
"Holotropical" is an exhibition of new work by artist Lewi Quinn. An immersive installation, featuring performative multichannel video, sound works, textile creations, print guys, lights and such forth.
About
A holotropic experience is a non-ordinary experience (dreamlike or mind-bending) that has healing qualities, causing self-progression for the subject. These experiences can be induced in any number of ways but will always result in the subject encountering a feeling, or sight beyond their normal. Such encounters lead to an expanded consciousness, sensations of ecstasy, extreme relaxation and something-something, do-da, flim-flams, et cetera.
