Holiday Art Club: Building Paintings & Painting Building

Exploring the exhibition Double Dutch by Ben Cove, we will be building paintings and painting buildings!
The group will be using shapes and colours from Ben's work to construct a collaborative sculpture and a series of images that represent the building or spaces within the gallery!

Holiday Art Club: Creating Stories

Ages 8 - 11 years

This workshop is inspired by Aspex's home, The Vulcan Building. The group will look at book-making and how this can be used as a vehicle to tell a story!
We will be making our own concertina books from scratch.
The group will then experiment with a variety of mediums to decorate the book, from charcoals to collage!
This workshop is led by Jordan Baines (Ohh So Curious Illustration).

Holiday Art Club: Create, Build, Project

Inspired by the exhibition Double Dutch by Ben Cove, we will work as a group using found materials to create a large 3D installation in our new Learning Space!
Alongside making our artwork, we will create a short motion animation of us building throughout the day, which will then be projected on top of the artwork for all to see!
