Hobson-Jopbson is a site-specific painting installation in a 19th century building housing a museum of Rajasthani cultural heritage, with a programme of contemporary art.
About
Hobson-Jobson, a name made from a jumble of Indo-Anglian words, is a set of painted portraits based on a set of archive photographs of British agents and Maharajahs. The work uses the whole chamber as an architectural painting composition, made over a 10 day residency.
