About
K. O’Neill is a "20-something" Puerto Rican artist from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Using the female form and specific songs as inspiration, O’Neill works primarily in acrylics and focuses on bold usage of color to vividly capture emotion. Many K. O'Neill pieces are named after individual songs by various vocal artists, not restricted to one body or genre of music. She deconstructs the female form and what it means to be a woman- with many pieces revolving around the female gaze and its ability to capture a moment or emotion, as well as taboo topics she believes relate to women internationally.
