Arts & Crafts Exhibition at Hilles
We are pleased to present a group exhibition of new works featuring artists, designers and craftwork associated with Hilles House and landscape. The 'Hilles Studio Collective' exhibition will be held over two weekends, 6th & 7th, 13th & 14th May 2017. Free admission. In association with SVA open studios. 
Starting from 11am each day until 7pm. The exhibition will present live music at 4pm daily.  
The exhibition features the Redheart England Spring/Summer Collection in the main house. 
A Hilles Studio Supper Club with be offering a special themed dinner on 13th May. 
Food and refreshments will also be available throughout event. 
Hilles Studios Collective is a talented and exciting group of artists, from sculpture to painting, photography, textiles, digital and video. 
The artists showing are; Amaury Blow, Red Heart England, The Ark Ensemble, Colin Glen, Sheridan Jones, Saffron Knight, Kirsty Stockdale, Nick Twilley, Delight A Thief. More artists to be announced.
Hilles Estate has always had a strong connection with the Arts and Crafts movement with links to Ruskin and Morris via its founder Detmar Jellings Blow. It is a place that has nurtured artistic collaboration and creative debate throughout its history. 
Hilles House is a stunning Cotswold house, built in the Arts and Crafts style, near Painswick in Gloucestershire. The house is dramatically situated over 600 feet above sea level on the edge of the Cotswold plateau, overlooking five counties, with a spectacular view that encompasses the Seven Bridges to the west, the Black Mountains, May Hill, and northwards to the Malvern and Shropshire Hills.
