Join Medical Herbalist Sue Salmon and artists Isobel Denton and Sue Ripley of abitmoreink for this full day introduction to medicinal herbs and plants, foraging and eco-printing.

About

In the morning you will be introduced to the medicinal properties of plants and walk along Wakefield Waterfront to forage collect a variety of plants and leaves to eco-print from. In the afternoon you will create interesting textures, colours and designs on paper using natural dyes and locally foraged plants.

Ecoprinting is a sustainable process that combines heat and moisture with plant material to produce a variety of colour, marks and prints. Natural dyes and eco friendly mordants assist in the process of creating botanical imagery.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediates.
