CasildART is excited to host our second talk in our gallery series, HER TO HER. Award-winning television executive, Angela Ferreira, and philanthropist and impact investor, Patricia Hamzahee will share their insights into how one develops a creative hustle whilst building and empowering community.

Friends, as well as colleagues, throughout their careers, each incredible woman, has committed to ventures dedicated to social justice, cultural advocacy, and building a better society. As co-founders of the charity The Black Funding Network they provide access to funding for small Black-led organisations to positively impact our community. Join us to hear their fascinating stories and be part of the conversation. You're sure to learn a thing or two and we hope you'll be inspired along the way.

Angela Ferreira is an internationally acclaimed television executive with extensive experience in diverse genres, DEI initiatives, and educational roles. She has received numerous awards for her work in the community.

Angela is the DEI Ambassador for Banijay UK, Chair of the Embrace network, and a ‘Create Central Champion’ promoting business, training, and diversity in the West Midlands creative sector. She also serves as a Governor at The BRIT School, is a registered School Speaker, and teaches at the National Film and Television School where she sits on the TV Advisory Panel.

Patricia Hamzahee is an advisor, impact investor, and philanthropist. After nearly 20 years in banking and finance, she now consults with social enterprises to attract private capital and helps responsible investors develop social impact strategies. She advocates for increased funding for diverse start-up founders through Extend Ventures.

As a co-founder of Black Funding Network, Patricia supports Black-led non-profits and promotes collective giving. With GiveBLACK, she commissioned a significant study on Black philanthropy in Britain to boost Black giving. She also serves as a non-executive director of Social Enterprise UK and is on the Investment Committee of Better Society Capital.
