Drawing on their extensive knowledge and understanding of making, exhibiting and thinking about sculpture, contributors will share their thoughts on how and why there are so many successes today within this rich and varied contemporary art form. Confirmed speakers include Ben Borthwick (Chair), Richard Deacon, Sean Edwards, Dean Hughes, Mike Murray and Bedwyr Williams. In the afternoon, guest speakers and Cardiff's emerging sculptors will lead a guided tour of the final sculpture degree show at Cardiff School of Art & Design to talk about how the next generation are making and thinking. This will be followed at Chapter by a performance from Bedwyr Williams to celebrate the launch of his new book. Organised by Cardiff School of Art and Design student Niamh Conneely and Subject Leader in Sculpture, Cecile Johnson Soliz, in collaboration with Chapter Gallery.
