Working across painting, photography, installation and video she explores the transitory and contradictory nature of cities, and address the physicality and social history of urban spaces. Helena was awarded £4000 as part of the Badept programme consisting of exhibitions, workshops and events funded by the Arts Council England and the National Lottery. Helena has undertaken residencies, projects, commissions and solo exhibitions widely in the UK and abroad. Badept is pleased to coordinate this exhibtion in the new major gallery space at the Blackpool & The Fylde College, University Centre.
