An exhibition exploring sound, hearing and listening in the work of Samuel Beckett

About

Hearing Beckett is an exhibition of work concerned with issues of aurality, meaning and memory in the work of Samuel Beckett. Beckett, while being acknowledged as a writer & playwright of great renown was also a master of the sonic. His awareness of the importance of sound, hearing and listening on our perception of time and memory cannot be understated. Through the works displayed, some of Beckett's best known pieces are reimagined and reworked as gallery based sound works.
