About
In celebration of our upcoming art exhibition, ‘Rain On Me’, we will be hosting a poetry night at The Brick Lane Gallery. While the title is borrowed from Rupi Kaur, our definition of poetry comes from William Wordworth, who said, ‘poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquillity’.
The evening is centred on the theme of mental health, which our poets have responded to in a way that feels most true to them.
