Next to Nothing is pleased to present Heads/Tails, a two-part group exhibition, featuring the Yale MFA Painting/Printmaking graduates of 2018.

About

Part 1: Heads will show work by 11 artists: Natalie Ball, Kenturah Davis, Danny Ginsburg, Adam Higgins, Wyatt Lasky, Alexandria Mento, Kent O’Connor, Johnathan Payne, Maya Strauss, Emma Webster and Chase Wilson. Ranging from painting in the most traditional sense, to sculptures and a video piece, the exhibition itself will be an eclectic vision, as there is no overriding theme to connect the artists’ truly individual practices. A bright yellow print of women’s asses hangs in stark contrast to a natural wooden loom containing soft black ropes. Viewed as a whole, the exhibition can be seen as reference for the latest developments where art and academia converge.

Opportunities to see the works and to be acquainted with the artists include the opening reception of Heads on Friday August 3 from 7-9PM and Tails on Friday September 7 from 7-9PM. We welcome you to join us through this period to celebrate the class of 2018 in their explorations.
