About
Artist Statement:I love the process of drawing and creating images. The drawings come purely from my imagination and I rarely use any reference material. I get inspiration from many things: pop culture, comic books, science fiction, observation in my daily life and others. I draw mainly with graphite pencils and ink on paper.
Most of my images start from a scribble in a sketchbook and an idea for a larger image develops from there. The satisfaction from each completed drawing motivates me to start the next one. It always amazes me how an image grows out of itself on the paper in front of you and finds meaning and narrative almost by itself.
