About
Yosef Phelan is an Irish-Palestinian artist from Dublin. His work explores themes of identity, heritage and decision-making, utilizing a mix of abstract and figurative forms that are layered and built over a period of weeks or months to create expressive, colour filled pieces of work. His new series of paintings focuses on his Palestinian heritage, using conversations with his father as a starting point for narratives within the works.
Yosef Phelan´s exhibition "Harsh Roads" will take place from the 12th September until the 16th September 2024 from 7pm to 11pm at PRISMA!
