About
Paranoid Picnic: The Phantom BAME artist Hardeep Pandhal leads a tour of his work both at NAE and Primary Studios. Using 'testing humour' Pandhal confronts postcolonial traumas and the frustrations of societal structures. Through films sampling period dramas to large scale cartoon figure cut-outs dressed in traditional South Asian attire, Pandhal's work is a surreal collage of wit and the uncanny.
This tour starts at NAE and continues on to Primary. NAE will be organising free transport for all attendees to travel to Primary.
