A display of documentation and work by Jess Polglase relating to her residency for Newlyn Arts Festival
About
Taking influence from architecture, Jess Polglase photographs site-specific ceilings and reduces them to pure line. She then maps out geometric shapes onto walls or, most recently, windows, with thin black tape. For Newlyn Arts Festival Jess used the fish market ceiling in Newlyn Harbour to create a vinyl line drawing that was installed onto the window of Lewis’s Fish & Chip Shop.
The Studio Café will show documentation relating to her residency, with her work still on display at Lewis’s.
