‘Haphazards’ is a new exhibition of eccentric mechanical sculptures from Nik Ramage on show in the basement at No. 9 Albemarle Street from April 7th.

About

Nik Ramage creates machines and objects that have drifted away from their original function, whose purposes have been re-invented, leading to a haphazard conclusion.

During April, the downstairs gallery at No. 9 Albemarle Street, will be filled with a collection of obscure contraptions creating a cacophony of sound. Over 40 machines and objects will be on display, offering a new take on familiar everyday objects.

Many of the objects will be for sale, including a set of three household chairs, far too fragile to sit on. One has had the uprights replaced with springs, another has soap slipped into its legs and the third is cut in two, but still standing.
