Throughout his career and across disciplines, Hans-Peter Feldmann’s oeuvre has been defined by his unabated devotion to collecting and organizing images and ephemera.

About

Revealing an uncommonly keen eye for banal yet seductive pictures, he categorizes, arranges and performs calculated acts of détournement. By reframing and altering commonplace objects and imagery, Feldmann transgresses the divide between high and low culture. His works subvert expectations, subtly prompting us to question our notions of beauty and the representative.
