Hans Stofer's room installation, a corridor, guides the viewer through a body of work that maintains a fragile balance between familiarity and alienation. ‘Walk the line', from the title of a song by Johnny Cash, refers to the line between Art and Design, where the artist stages the modular context of his work as ‘Gesamtkunstwerk' as well as functional objects.
