The basic theme of the show is the connection between senses and memory. The title of the show relates to this direct and involuntary relationship between our body and the mind. This is very much a synaesthetic experience, where two sense overlap such as in the example of the "color" of a sound in Kandinskys work.An invisible bridge between the two senses is created and activates the unconcious. Since the most of the work is directly tied to personal memories and Hanayo tends to use what directly surrounds her, the work becomes an intimate touch and supposed to evoke the visitor to make very personal connection of his or her own.
