Hackney Secrets, a group of students from Clapton Girls Academy, will exhibit photographs showing beautiful places in the borough of Hackney, London at The Hackney Picture House Cinema Cafe on Mare Street from March 22 through March 28, 2012. The girls embarked on the project as part of their enrichment class in which they worked with the charity Envision to counter the negative stereotypes often associated with the landscape of our borough. They hope that "by framing beautiful and natural photographs of various Hackney areas, commuters and residents of the borough will be able to appreciate the beauty of Hackney, which they would otherwise not see in their daily lives or which usually go unnoticed."
Members of the group are : Le-My Dang, Chrisann Jarrett, Emmanuella Bonsu, La-Treya, Nelson, Marsha Bernard, Toni Trent, Lynsey Corr, Anisha Khanam.
