AOC F58 Bruno Lisi Gallery presents Eros EtheReal, by the artist Hélène Pavlopoulou, one of the most important Hellenic artistic voices of her generation. The solo show is curated by Camilla Boemio. Eros EtheReal is a constellation that is made up of the series created specifically for the exhibition, which includes the paintings: Επέστρεφε / Torna, Ιωνικόν / Terra di Ionia, Ιθάκη / Ithaca, La Jeunesse Blanche, Φωναί γλυκείαι / Vo sweet us, Τα άλογα του Αχιλλέως / The Horses of Achilles,Εκείναις ται στιγμαίς (Γενάρης 1904) / Those moments (January 1904). It is an incisive body of committed work, an epiphany capable of producing touching meditations on the cornerstones of the author's language, in accordance with the three strands he deals with of historical, philosophical and erotic poetry, with the absorption of Greek and Byzantine history , the persistence of the fragility of memory, the nostalgia assimilated to the spirituality of eros, the vulnerability in relation to love and its dependence. Pavlopoulou sublimates its imagery, reaching a versatility in which the balance between content and form emerges in an interpretative ecstasy that translates its deepest essence.
