GZ-BASEL 2019
The 5th edition of a satellite art event for artists, just a few steps from Art Basel.We are selecting an outstanding conjunction of painting, photography, installation-art, sculpture and video.Also performance and lecture may form part of our program.With this exhibition we pretend to reach a wide public in Basel and offer the opportunity to meet the artists in person and to assist during performances and lecture. The wide offer of contemporary art may be as well an opportunity for visitors to find affordable art of the highest level. We will be open daily from 12 until 22 h. here to edit
Theme: "no hurry no delay"
This theme possibly will not be clear for everybody, but maybe it invites to start thinking about what if could mean.Maybe the idea to approach reality without hurry, but without allowing any delay, is characterizing not only the base of the creative process, but as well the right attitude for resolving any important matters without losing the sense of life.Our lifestyle is often stressing because of hurry. Other matters do not work because of delay. The harmony of both elements can make things working.We like to add as well the idea that "slow is quick" as a meditative value that translates benefits to the quality of experience and awareness.
For GZ-BASEL 2019 we are selecting the most innovative contemporary art from all over, ready to transmit their meaning to our senses and convince us again about the beauty and quality of life.
