This day will introduce you to the various options available to you in growing a team, whether you are looking for support for a one off project; setting up a maker space or building capacity in your business.

We have a legal advisor who will talk you through the various elements you need to consider when working with and employing others.
- Introduce you to Intellectual Property rights as a designer when introducing new members of your team
- Outline the options to you: staff; short term contracts; apprenticeships; volunteers; interns; work placement
- Risks and benefits you need to consider when recruiting
- Introduction to employment and company law
The afternoon will be a packed session of case studies introducing you to the benefits of working with others and how you could consider taking your first steps to growing your business to plus one!
