About

The painter Peter Doig will be in conversation with artist and curator Matthew Higgs, director of the influential alternative art space White Columns in New York.  Peter and Matthew have known each other since the early 1990s and they will talk about their shared histories – as artists, friends, and curators – through the agency of a selection of Peter Doig’s works made over the course of his three-decade career.

Peter Doig

Peter Doig is a contemporary Scottish artist, celebrated as one of the most important representational painters working today.
