Greenwich Portraits 2019 is the fourth instalment of the University of Greenwich’s annual celebration of outstanding alumni and current students.
This exhibition, curated by current University of Greenwich student Jake Maynard, showcases 16 new photographic portraits taken by Diane Patrice. Each participant’s story reflects on their journeys before, during and after Greenwich and celebrates the impacts they are all making in their chosen fields.
The beautiful portraits developed each year as part of the project have become a ubiquitous sight on around the university and are a daily reminder to students, staff and local community of the power of a Greenwich education. This year’s exhibition features one of the first female Anglican Bishops, a fraternal football management duo, a lunar pioneer and a BAFTA award-winning TV producer—displayed alongside future stars from our current crop of students and other outstanding alumni who are making significant impacts in their chosen fields.
This exhibition is open from 21 February to 15 March 2019.
Located in the Stephen Lawrence Gallery, 10 Stockwell Street, SE10 9BD.
