Graffiti Check is a group exhibition bringing together five contemporary artists: Annelie Fawke, Jojo Hynes, Jeni Johnson, Joanne Newman and Paul David Mitchell
About
The title is taken from a form outside a prison cell. A warder would check the extent of the graffiti in each cell and complete the form, perhaps with consequences.
This exhibition explores the idea of a 'group exhibition' and what it may mean to show work together. Inspiring reflection on the nature of expression and exhibition; making work, taking over a space, exhibiting and the viewer ‘checking’ the work.
