Our enchanting winter lantern trail is back for its ninth year, featuring a brand-new route, packed full of other surprises.
About
As darkness falls, the gardens are brought to life with beautifully hand-crafted lanterns and captivating light installations created by leading artists. The warm glow of 1,800 energy-saving bulbs adorning Wakehurst’s 37 metre giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), the UK’s tallest living Christmas tree, beckons visitors to nearby crackling firepits.
This year, Glow Wild celebrates the spectrum of colours in nature, inviting you to explore how we see colour and the role it plays in our daily lives.
Looking for a heart-warming date night or a fun evening out with friends? If yes, our brand-new adults-only sessions are just the thing.
Every Friday night at 8pm, tickets will be reserved solely for visitors over 18 years, offering a unique experience at Glow Wild.
We're also offering a range of quiet sessions throughout Glow Wild 2022, suitable for visitors with hidden disabilities, such as autism, to make for a more comfortable visit whilst still enjoying the sensory elements of the new trail.
