Working with contemporary fashion designer and craftsman Giuseppe Savoca, participants will learn how to apply beading techniques in unexpected ways, and create a unique accessory combining Victorian elegance with a modern twist.

Working with contemporary fashion designer and craftsman Giuseppe Savoca, participants will learn how to apply beading techniques in unexpected ways, and create a unique accessory combining Victorian elegance with a modern twist. The workshop takes inspiration from the dresses in the exhibition Out Shopping: The Dresses of Marion and Maud Sambourne (1880-1910).
Useful information
- All levels of ability and experience are welcome. Participants will need to be able to thread needles and pick up beads.
- The workshop will take place in the dedicated Learning Centre at Leighton House.
- After the workshop, participants will also have access to exhibition galleries and the historic house.
- Ticket price includes all materials and equipment. Bead kits will also be on sale to continue your learning at home.
