About
From the world’s largest permanent freshwater glaciers to the hot deserts of Thar and Cholistan, Pakistan has the most altitudinal variation in the world.
It has one of the highest mountains in the world K2 (8,611m high) in the Karakoram and almost 650 miles of coastline.
Its diversity in geography is paralleled by a diverse ethnicity of many distinct cultures and communities and a unique biodiversity including more than 700 species of birds and 173 species of mammals.
It is this unique biodiversity, geography, mix of cultures and people that make the country an aspiring and challenging place for both explorers and nature lovers.
Rasool's photography captures Pakistan’s hidden landscapes and celebrates the country's unique biodiversity, geography, mix of cultures and people.
