Solo exhibition by Georgie Stewart
About
Illustrator artist Georgie Stewart will be exhibiting a collection of works in her first solo exhibition at cave, Pimlico.
Georgie's artworks embrace colour driven textures and vibrant, eye-popping landscapes. 'The Woods are Lovely, Dark and Deep' is a collection of works that celebrates the enchanting quality of trees. Taking inspiration from the final verse of Robert Frost’s poem ‘Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening’ Georgie’s works capture the essence of Frost’s forest. A forest which is at once both vast and unknown, filled with solitude and silence, but also one that is familiar and comforting - a visual representation of our long, winding journeys through life.
The exhibition will run from 17th - 20th March, 2022 with a Private View from 6-9pm on Friday 18th. It has been curated by Celia Higson.
