Georgia - a land of fascinating beauty in the southern Caucasus, between Europe and Asia, with an eventful, often bloody history. One of the oldest civilized nations and origin of truly great poets and thinkers, artists and scholars. Peter Oehlmann's silent and laconic images are mostly taken off the beaten path and invite the viewer to get a feel for the desires, achievements but also difficulties and losses of social transformation after the end of the Soviet Union.
