About

Katherine’s practice is centred around contemporary craft and this curated show presents her varied series of chain mail lace works. The exhibition features a large sculptural piece as well as contemporary art jewellery and photographic works, which were staged here at Left Bank.

The exhibition is free to attend, 10-5 weekdays and 11-4 weekends.

On 24 October, join Katherine for an afternoon of activities related to the show. From 2pm, she's hosting a Meet the Artist talk, followed by an informal round table discussion. You'll hear about her processes and inspirations, and have the opportunity to share your own thoughts on the show, if you like. This is a friendly and inclusive event that's open to everyone. From 4pm, Katherine will facilitate a jewellery workshop, where you'll have the opportunity to learn basic chain mail technique and create an elegant bracelet.

This exhibition and accompanying events are gratefully supported by Left Bank Leeds and the Berkofsky Art Prize. All will be conducted in line with COVID regulations. Materials and equipment will not be shared and participants from different households will be able to maintain a social distance at all times in our spacious venue.
