About

Sited in a vast, disused building in Cardiff Bay, tactileBOSCH’s Garden of Earthly Delights will be a gesamtkunstwerk; a dizzying array of installation, video, sonic art, interdisciplinary collaborations and spontaneous interventions, kicked off with a wild night of live music, cabaret, and visceral performance art!

Artists are invited to submit existing artworks that resonate with the imagery and thematics of Bosch’s iconic triptych, amongst which we find the dissolution of boundaries between good and evil; magical energy and lost esoteric knowledge; the wildness and absurdity of the subconscious; fantastical beings, monsters and chimeras; the rebirth of the joyous world; hybridity and shape-shifting; the bizarre and bawdy, divine and innocent, rotten and warped; eroticism, exoticism, primitivism; the noble savage, frolicking and cavorting; debauchery and corruption, retribution and damnation; cities on fire.

Artists across all media (including dance, spoken word, theatre, music) and from all stages of their career can apply. In the spirit of BOSCH, we are excited by the experimental and fantastical; the dark, anarchic, and downright barking.

TO APPLY

Please send us a description of the artwork you wish to exhibit (200 words max),

6 images of artworks (1MB per image max, along with title, date, media, dimensions / duration etc), artist statement (200 words max.) and CV (1 page max)
