Gallery Weekend Berlin was founded in 2005 as a private initiative by Berlin galleries and soon became one of the highlights of the international art calendar. The weekend celebrates galleries and artists within this unique format providing high-calibre exhibitions and an unparalleled experience of Berlin.

The 17th Gallery Weekend is to take place at the traditional dates from April 30 to May 2 2021.

Saturday, 1 May | 12 noon – 7 pm
Sunday,  2 May | 12 noon – 7 pm

Currently, in-person gallery visits are possible via appointment booking and with a same-day Corona test. 

You can take advantage of our digital offerings:

• All exhibitions and artists are presented on the respective gallery pages on our website.
• Films of all exhibitions will be viewable on Instagram from May 1.
• Gallery Weekend Live Tours guide you through all participating galleries on May 1 and 2. Pre-registration is not required. The program and all relevant links can be found here.

Jedes Jahr im Frühjahr öffnen rund 50 Galerien Ausstellungen von jungen und etablierten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern und begrüßen zahlreiche Besucher*innen aus der ganzen Welt in Berlin. 2005 als private Initiative von Berliner Galerien gegründet, hat sich das Gallery Weekend als Highlight im Kunstkalender etabliert und feiert die Galerien und Künstler*innen mit seinem einzigartigen Format, das hochkarätige Ausstellungen und das Erleben von Stadt- und Galerieraum vereint.

 Das 17. Gallery Weekend wird zum traditionellen Frühjahrstermin, am Wochenende vom 30. April bis 2. Mai 2021 durchgeführt.
