About

The Future Historical Society is a storytelling project led by artist Yazmany Arboleda and created by Fort Greene community members. Through the creation of podcasts, performances, and visual installations, personal stories illuminate the untold histories of the Brooklyn neighborhood. At businesses, churches, and parks throughout Fort Greene, personal histories of this community come to life through podcasts, performances, and visual installations created by FHS members. Stop by the HQ to pick up your map, meet members, and learn more about the creative process.
