The artists in this exhibition examine a complexity of human experience through both memory and perception. They explore a fusion of Japan UK personal themes such as displacement, harmony, and contradiction, and how these may impact on our neurological responses.
About
In Noga and Sugamoto’s approach the interplay of harmonic relationships, geometry, and use of symbols, hint at a personal history or presence. Chromatic radiance and structural colour associations focus our thoughts towards a relationship between symbolised and anthropological space. The sculpture and constructions/paintings develop an identity in the work that comes out of lived experience, dismantling and re - arranging what’s received or conveyed. Drawing the audience into a world of transformation and anticipation.
