Jenske Dijkhuis

About

Jenske Dijkhuis mostly makes site specific architectural installations that provide a place or shelter for people to enhance the experience of the space it stands in. Using history, context, architecture and the natural elements to create a concept, it is executed in an archetypical form to define both the space it encloses as well as the space that surrounds it. This is the first solo exhibition within a gallery context for Dijkhuis and she uses it to explore the relationship between internal and external space and the public perception of spaces that they inhabit.
