The artistic work of Friedrich Kunath (* 1974 in Karl-Marx-Stadt, lives in Los Angeles and Munich) appears as a melancholic-humorous remix of elements of German romanticism and contemporary pop culture. With references to landscape painting, GDR television or pop music, the exhibition revolves around questions about wandering into the distance and arriving.
