Create art inspired by exhibitions at YBCA in this series of drop-in art workshops for all ages. Materials will be provided, and you can take your artwork home as a souvenir.
About
Inspired by Malaya Tuyay’s mural “What is Legacy Without Liberation?” installed on YBCA’s Third Street Wavy Wall, create watercolor cards and dedicate them to someone you’d like to honor–an ancestor, or a loved one who passed. Reflect through imagery and symbolism, using color, lines, and shapes as a guide throughout your composition.
