Rivington Place, designed by leading architect David Adjaye, opened to the public in 2007 and was awarded RIBA 'Award for London' in 2008. This 15,000 square foot, five-floor visual arts centre in Shoreditch is the first new-build public gallery in London since the Hayward Gallery opened in 1968.
Rivington Place is a new kind of visual arts space, home to Iniva and Autograph ABP who programme exhibitions and events engaging with new ideas and emerging debates in the contemporary visual arts which reflect the cultural diversity of contemporary society .
